"Fic" is, of course, an abbreviation of fanfiction, but as a suffix is used to denote different fanfiction varieties. Badfic is bad fanfiction, Suefic is fanfiction starring a Mary Sue, slashfic…you get the idea. Other notorious types of fic include rapefic and songfic.
