Canon characters are characters from various 'verses. Some are resurrected and recruited to the PPC when they die.
Canon characters are prone to mischaracterization by Suethors, demon possession by Bad Slashers, and, worst of all, becoming Canon Sues. Most Mary Sues fall in love with canon characters. Since that character in question would never in his right mind reciprocate, Mary Sue must then twist his mind and tamper with his free will in order to make him cooperate. Often, if a canon character has a canonical significant other, the latter is vilified or killed off in a horribly contrived way. Misspellings of names of canon characters result in minis.
