- —"Spin, Spin, Spin," a PPC carol
The Department of Dead Author Electricity Generation powers the PPC by hooking drive belts to the various deceased authors in their graves; as they roll in them because of what the Suethors are doing to their works, HQ gets power. It is run by the Slaver Sunflower.
Many of its agents are silver in colour, as is the department head. The reason for this is unknown.
Only two DoDAEG agents are known:
J.R.R. Tolkien is known to provide the power to at least half of HQ since the release of the Lord of the Rings movies, as was discovered in 2004 when the canon love resulting from a PPC visit to his grave caused him to stop. Severe canon breaches in his work occasionally cause him to spin so fast that other authors must be taken offline to compensate for the surges in power.
During the 2013 Blackout, the agents of the DoDAEG mysteriously absconded, leaving no one around to realise that the Blackout was merely a power drainage to the Cafeteria until the Doctor came by investigating. When the DoDAEG agents were found, they claimed to have been at the HQ Pool but refused to answer questions when pressed.
