Also referred to as the D.O.R.K.S., the Disguise-Outfitting Ryticular Kostume System was created by Makes-Things to enable agents to change disguises without having to return to their response centers during missions. It first appears in chapter six of "Suedom" by Andy and Saphie. The K in "kostume" is the result of a typo on the patent form, and certainly not just there to make a spiffy acronym. Nobody knows what "ryticular" means, so don't ask.

Description Edit

The D.O.R.K.S. is equipped with a self-disguise program so that it does not appear uncanonical. However, this program has a bug which causes the device to change form every few minutes, accompanied by a distinctive "prrrrp" sound. While there has been no success at fixing this problem, at least it doesn't explode or melt, like much of the technology used by the PPC tends to do. (See also: Murphy's Law.)

When not self-disguised, the D.O.R.K.S. appears as a small metal cube with many buttons. The cube can be felt under the illusion of its disguise. Its user interface is complicated and requires practice. When used properly, a beam of light zaps the intended agent, the device makes "futuristic sci-fi-ey sounds," and when the light fades the agent has a new disguise.
