Duplicator (Calvin and Hobbes)

A Duplicator, not to be confused with a Transmogrifier or a Time Machine, is a device which can create an exact duplicate of anything put into it. It works best with organic or semi-organic matter, and works because you want it to. Any resemblance to a cardboard box turned sideways is purely coincidental. Duplicators are known to make a "boink" sound when they are operated.

The Department of Sufficiently Advanced Technology is known to possess at least one Duplicator, which Makes-Things used to mass-replicate TARDISes for Agents during the Macrovirus Epidemic prior to his death. It is unknown whether DoSAT's Duplicator could also function as a Transmogrifier or a Time Machine.
