The twenty-fifth day of May, of course. May 25 is particularly honored among PPC Boarders because it marks the anniversary of three events: Towel Day and the release of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope in the Real World, and the Glorious Revolution of the Twenty-Fifth of May in Discworld.
Towel Day[]

This day, two weeks after the death of Douglas Adams on May 11, 2001, was set aside to commemorate his life and works, and to remind fans to always know where their towels are. Fans Hoopy froods are encouraged to carry their towels with them all day and post pictures of themselves with said towels on the web.
A New Hope[]

The release of Star Wars (later retitled Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope) on this day in 1977 marked the beginning of an era. Since then, the Star Wars franchise has become so well-known that further elaboration seems rather pointless.
The Glorious Revolution[]

On this day, the good hard-working citizenly citizens of Ankh-Morpork fought and died at the barricade—er, one of them, anyway—in the face of the tyranny of the insane (well, more than most) Lord Winder. On this day, John Keel died, leaving young Sam Vimes bereft of a beloved mentor. At least until grown-up Sam went back in time and took his place. But never mind.
The Glorious Revolution is remembered by those who were there with a sprig of lilac pinned on the breastplate. Or, in the case of fans, on the shirt. Outside of the Discworld, wearing a lilac on this day also symbolizes love and admiration for Terry Pratchett and general nerdiness.
