Motto: Don't Fear the Reaper.

Sir Terry Pratchett is the renowned author of the Discworld series of books, as well as many other related or non-related publications. He is a co-author, with Neil Gaiman, of Good Omens, which has its own OFU. The Holy Hangover Cure originates from a Terry Pratchett book, as does the colour octarine.

In 1998, he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) 'for services to literature'. In 2009, he was knighted. Later that year, to celebrate, he made his own sword partly out of thunderbolt iron. As of late 2010, he was a professor at Trinity College, Dublin.

In 2007, Terry Pratchett was diagnosed with posterior cortical atrophy, a form of early-onset Alzheimer's disease. He continued to write and was active in the cause of dementia awareness for eight more years, but sadly, he passed away on March 12, 2015, with the following announcement in his Twitter feed:

AT LAST, SIR TERRY, WE MUST WALK TOGETHER.

Terry took Death's arm and followed him through the doors and on to the black desert under the endless night.

The End.

Terry Pratchett and the PPC[]

Many agents worship him to a greater or lesser extent. He is often referred to as Pterry or the Great God Pterry. May 25 is celebrated by the PPC in remembrance of the Glorious Revolution on the Disc, and of Sir Terry Pratchett himself.
