Madoka Kaname is the protagonist of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime series. Originally a regular 14-year-old girl, she used her Wish to erase all Witches before they were born. The paradox led to the whole universe being rewritten and Madoka becoming the Goddess of Hope.

In her current state she is present everywhere and everywhen in the whole multiverse (as herself said in the series), saving Puella Magi from their fate of becoming Witches. She is, however, unable to be seen or heard from anybody, except maybe from Homura Akemi, the only person in her continuum to keep memories of her after the rewrite.
