Sir Terry Pratchett is the renowned author of the Discworld series of books, as well as many other related or non-related publications. He is a co-author, with Neil Gaiman, of Good Omens, which has its own OFU. Missions in Good Omens are found at the page for Neil Gaiman. Many agents worship him to a greater or lesser extent. He is often referred to as Pterry or the Great God Pterry and, as of late 2010, is a professor at Trinity College, Dublin.
In 1998 he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) "for services to literature". In 2009 he was knighted. Later that year, to celebrate, he made his own sword partly out of thunderbolt iron.
May 25 is celebrated by the PPC in remembrance of the Glorious Revolution in Discworld.
